I'm so very sorry for your loss. I was not able to attend either the wake or funeral but did want to extend my condolences. I met Joe at Mar Lac House a million years ago and he was just a great guy.

I have read all of these words over the past few days and the same thing is being said over and over.......that smile.
Joe had a smile and a laugh that was always there. I don't ever remember a time when he didn't have a smile on his face, and if you weren't smiling he would make you smile, make you laugh at loud. I met Joe when he was about 7 years old, and my heart breaks when I think that in a few minutes I'll be getting ready to go and say a final goodbye to that boy who could always make me laugh just by walking into the room. To the Decosola family and to little Joey my deepest sympathy for your loss. I know he is now with his Mom and Rosie and he will watch over all of you. Rest in Peace Joe.

Although Joey and I were not the same age, and traveled in different circles, he still made quite an impact on my life - just by being the guy "in town" that everybody knew. He helped me with some work when I first bought my house, and I always think of him when I see my yard. Like everyone else, I will always remember the twinkle in his eyes, and the almost constant, radiant smile on his face. I feel blessed to have known him, and my heart breaks for all of us that he is no longer here. My sincere and heartfelt sympathy goes out to Joey's family and closest friends. I hope that by knowing how many lives he touched will someday bring you peace.

It has been many years since I have seen Joey, but I will never forget that laugh ( it was contagious) and that wonderful smile!

The Grams family is deeply saddened by the loss of Joe. We are all thinking of Joe's family at this difficult time. He was such a great guy and we will remember him as he lived, laughing, smiling, so full of life. Words can't express the sadness in my heart for the DECOSOLA Family.I have so many wonderful memories of Joey.My favorite was playing softball with him and I asked hin to coach our softball team last summer and he did it and he had so much fun.That's what I will remember the most how he could light up a room when he walked in..I am so sorry for your loss.
