Pastor Arthur Babatunde Akinkunmi Williams

Arthur Babatunde Akinkunmi Williams was born on July 31st, 1956, in Lagos Island, Lagos, Nigeria. His parents were the late Pa George Akinola Williams and Victoria Ibironke Williams.

He started his educational background attending Abeokuta Grammar School, in Abeokuta, Ogun State. Prior to his primary school education, he suffered the loss of his father, Pa Williams, after he fell ill to injuries while serving as a soldier. After the completion of his secondary education he worked for Texaco Oil Company, until he decided to further his education in the United States.

Upon entry into the states he started his undergraduate program at Wilberforce University, where he majored in Business Administration. While in college he was blessed with his first child Akinbowale Jimi (Williams) Shorter. Upon graduating he moved to Atlanta. On February 14,1986, he met the love of his life Kemi Ogunmuyiwa. They fell so deeply in love, and 2 years later were blessed with their first two children Taiwo Oluwasina George Williams and Kehinde Oluwaseun Sylvester Williams. 18 months later they were blessed with their one and only daughter Idowu Oluwatosin Victoria Williams. Several years later, they were blessed again with their last child Joshua Oluwagbemiga Alaba Williams. He attended Brenau University shortly before the birth of his last child to receive his master’s degree in May of 1998.

Despite his personal life, he touched the lives of many through his work with God. He was a very active Christian from his childhood attending Holy Cross Cathedral in Lagos, where he served as an altar boy. He continued his service in the Lord in the Cherubim and Seraphim Church fold here in the United States. He was part of the founding leaders of Cherubim and Seraphim Church in Atlanta. Soon after he became a Pastor where he furthered his service for the Lord, by bringing people closer to God through his preaching and service. His spiritual inclination with the Lord touched the lives of many around the world. Even with the gift he was given, he continued to be a devout worshipper and humble servant of the Lord.
