elegant always
I had the privilege of being Ms. Ploogs caregiver for a while. There is no more intimate relationship than that but she showed me grace and elegance every day and I am sorry to just now learn of her death. But I know she flys free now and her voice is once again crystal! I have and will miss her always. Knowing her was a great gift.
The BEST Voice teacher ever!
Doris Mayes Ploog was my voice teacher when I attended the conservatory. She was thorough, caring and well-versed in vocal literature and vocal pedagogy. She took a keen interest in ALL of her students and went beyond, far beyond to assist them in whatever way she could personally, professionally and academically. lastly, she was a fine performer..her mastery of German Lied, French Chanson, and opera was astonishing. What a fine, fine artist has close her silver throat and gone to be with our Savior.
