I always enjoyed Cay and her wonderful sense of humor! She was an excellent teacher who cared about the students as well as the staff. I was "nurse Nancy " to her. We missed her when she retired from Gree-Fields school. Sympathies to all her family and friends.

I worked for many years with Cay in Green-Fields School. She was an excellent teacher who was firm and caring with all of her students. She was a great friend to all. Cay had a ready wit. She was always interested in other people. The staff talked about her wonderful St Paddy's Day whiskey cake for years after she retired! She spoke glowingly of her own children and husband. In fact, I never heard her speak ill of anyone! Cay will surely be missed by all who knew her.

I will very much miss this grand lady. Her wit, sense of purpose, dignity and intelligence raised the bar for everyone in any room she was in. It was a delicious accomplishment to make her laugh, probably because it let me think I might be in her league! But few were—she will be remembered.
