Aunt Anne

My mother's oldest sister, she was a lovely woman. I remember visiting her when I was 8. My first plane ride. My first Major League Baseball game. Awed by my cousins and their accomplishments. As an adult, contact came via my mother, yet my sense of Anne as an incredible mom, very human, willing to learn and grow. She was a hero to me.
