Warm memories

John was always a wonderful person to be around, from the first time Uncle Dennis introduced him to me he was making me laugh. I have very warm memories of our holidays we spent together. I’ll never forget him trying to sing along with rap songs as I was cooking a turkey, made it a little bit hard as I was cracking up. John was always a fun loving guy that knew when you needed a laugh. He will be missed. May he rest in peace.

A tribute to John

To John I offer this tribute I remember a funny happy soul. John, Dennis and I didn’t visit together very often but he always made our visits very interesting and special sharing a story or two of the days of his youth or a TV show that was very enjoyable or expressing a love of a particular musician like Adele of which we both shared. So I remember this, a beautiful soul like his will never be forgotten and to Dennis and other family members no words no matter how kind will make things right and mend your heart but may all of you find comfort in each other and may the best memories always remain forever in your hearts.

Beckey Lund - Delaware USA

I have a letter from John dated 2009 where he described his happiness in painting his new digs with wonderful detailed color descriptions of blues and greens. It was the start of his new life with Dennis and we’d never known him happier or more silly.

A Thought

More then 10 years ago, Dennis brought John into our family. He was a quiet, friendly man who jelled with the brothers and sisters. We are a noisy bunch, but he held his own when he came up to the lake where we lived. It was obvious that he was special to Dennis and I enjoyed his friendship and was happy for them both. On his journey through life , he touched many and will be missed.
